Designed by Norwegian RatioArk Architects the new Concert Hall contains two performance halls with excellent acoustics. The Orchestra Hall seating 1500 visitors and the Multipurpose Hall with a standing capacity of nearly 2000. The Concert Hall includes a spectacular foyer facing the seaside and the forecourt. The Concert Hall also includes a large southfacing amphitheater suitable for outdoor concerts. In addition to the necessary backstage areas and rehearsal rooms, the Concert Hall contains a restaurant, café and bars with amazing views.
The building is situated parallel to the entrance concourse and consists of two spaces with different ambiences: one light and open in glass and a heavy closed one in concrete. The two spaces relate to the identity of the two concert halls, which complement each other. The light space in glass contains the Multipurpose Hall and the large audience areas,  

and creates a backdrop to the entrance concourse. The Multipurpose Hall is visible from the entrance and from the public areas. The heavy concrete space contains the Orchestra Hall and provides a backdrop for the foyer area. Visitors’ cloakrooms, performers’ areas, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and the administration are all located here. The Orchestra Hall is created without any compromises and is specially adapted for acoustic performances. Poltrona Frau proved to be the perfect partner to bring to life Orchestra Hall with exquisitely crafted seating for the project. 
Poltrona Frau collaborated to design, build and install 100% custom auditorium seating upholstered in velvet fabric. The folding seats, framed in wood veneer, was designed with an important acoustic treatment for the best sound possible in the theatre. 

Located in the heart of the city, alongside the exclusive shopping street, the P.C. Hooftstraat, the Conservatorium Hotel Amsterdam is the city’s newest hotel. Conservatorium Hotel's exquisite contemporary design is created in collaboration with the management company's vision and commitment to excellence and execution, and in partnership with one of Italy's leading architect and interior designer Piero Lissoni.
The Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam was designed with the 'gentleman traveller' in mind and blends the comforts of modern technology with a meticulous selection of works of art and ethnic pieces in the inimitable style of Piero Lissoni. Piero Lissoni's brief was to maintain the cosmopolitan feel of the

hotel in his role as head of the architectural and interior design project. The interplay between the historical architecture and the modern furnishings is both identifiable and purist. Cassina contract, a long term collaborator of Lissoni Associati realized Piero Lissoni’s design concepts for the Conservatorium Hotel. Cassina provided the building, manufacturing and installation of the interior of the 129 suites, including the furnishings, fixtures, flooring, lighting and all other built-ins, all according to Mr. Lissoni’s specifications.
In addition to the suites Cassina also built the interiors of function rooms located within the class cube in the central courtyard of the original hotel building.

Bottega Veneta’s collection for the home continues to grow in size, versatility, and innovation. For Salone del Mobile 2012, there are two new furniture groups and numerous new styles added to existing offerings. One new furniture group is the Tassello system, a family of modular furniture pieces developed in collaboration with Poltrona Frau. Inviting, unusual, and ingenious, it acknowledges and addresses the reality of individual needs and particular spaces.
The furniture is soft and slouchy, like a Bottega Veneta bag, and made of plump cushions. Broadly speaking, each piece consists of two cushions: one cushion forms the seat while another leans against a leather-clad metal sheet to form the back. Chairs, daybeds, corners and backless pieces lock securely

together in a variety of configurations. Numerous details large and small, like the carefully calibrated mix of down and technological foam used for different cushions, and the rollers that allow each piece to be easily lifted for moving, speak to the thoughtful construction of the furniture, while its comfort, visual appeal, and versatility are immediately obvious.
In addition to the Tassello system, Bottega Veneta and Poltrona Frau expanded on the existing Meta seating collection, by adding two new styles: the Meta Three Seater Sofa and a new Meta Dining Chair. The Bottega Veneta home collection is sold exclusively through Bottega Veneta boutiques and authorized distributors.
