公司簡介: Molteni Group ，該集團創立於1930，剛開始為一craft公司，現為義大利代表性家具集團之一，在全球37國家進行銷售。在1970年集團為更能及時反應市場需求而進行組織改造，將集團分為三子公司:

1.Molteni & C Spa (home furnishings);

2.Unifor Spa (office furnishings);

3.Dada Spa (kitchens)。
今天Molteni Group為義大利少數幾個掌控integral manufacturing cycle的集團從production,choice of materials,到inal definition of the piece。這三間子公司整合了technology, research and the exploration of new types adapted to the changes in course in the home and workplace。1970年時該集團定義了其identity:

1)Modular Furniture

Developing with Luca Meda's designs a number of solutions suited to all parts of the home, from wardrobe to living room and study/home office. 當時與設計師Luca Meda等合作對Modular systems持續進行產品進化，不管是在technical and construction terms,或是function and comfort。

2)Single Piece

1980年Molteni提出了Single Piece的概念，也就是能結合modular system創造出個別典雅的單品。Aldo Rossi,與Jean Nouvel(法國建築家)等合作，將創意結合先進的科技突顯出Molteni公司的價值。

這兩個IDENTYTI各發揮了不同的價值:

1)維持了公司inhouse的sophisticated craftsmanship,material know-how,careful finishes 以及product customization.

2)公司在technological research領域裡持續的研究與創新，結合傳統的craft tradition，創造出許多innovatory solutions，結合的是使用者的生活上的價值，而非ostentatious的華麗。該集團旗下有許多知名的設計師:Pier Luigi Cerri, Michele De Lucchi, Rodolfo Dordoni, Foster&Partners, Ferruccio Laviani, Luca Meda, Jean Nouvel, Pagani e Perversi, Bruno Reichlin, Aldo Rossi, Afra and Tobia Scarpa, Gerard Van den Berg, Hannes Wettstein, Patricia Urquiola and Paola Navone. 每個設計師都是highly individual，不過都共同建立在 elegant and comfortable的基礎上。

Molteni也在design contract上有一席之地，如: furnishings for the Walt Disney cruise ships built by Fincantieri, furnishings for the Cartier chain of boutiques all over the world and for the Cartier Foundation in Paris, the interiors for the La Fenice theatre in Venice and the furnishings for public areas on the cruise ships of the Holland America Line and P&O North Sea Ferries.
